Fortnite Parallel Showdowns 20.40 Patch Notes Chapter 3 Season 2

A new season settles in Fortnite Chapter 3 and brings many new features in the update patch. We tell you all about Season 2: Resistance and patch 20.30. Things have changed a lot in Fortnite Chapter 3 with the arrival of the new Season 2: Resistance. This is how the fresh (and not so new) season goes.

Parallel weapons return to Fortnite.
In Showdown Week at The Parallel, which runs from now until May 24 at 14:59 CEST, the Parallel Rifle and Parallel Minigun return from the breach. These weapons, which have already participated in another battle for the island’s fate in the past, can be found in chests and on the ground. How can you upgrade parallel weapons without cube monster parts? Taking them to an upgrade bench!
Earn extra XP by showing off your skill with Parallel weapons: Showdown Week quests at The Parallel will be active throughout this theme week! Don’t miss the new series of special missions when the next theme week begins on May 24 at 15:00 CEST.

Bubble Shields vs Balloons
Please give your opinion with your bars: the bubble shields and balloons trial period is over, and it’s time to vote! The first item to get 100% funded by global contributions worldwide will instantly win and become part of the loot content! You’ll find donation booths at significant points of interest, so find one, contribute bars, and make your preference clear.

Increased item spawn in Zero Build
Last week, coinciding with the return from the chamber of the remarkable shots, the drop rate of utility items increased for a limited time. In Zero Build, the drop rate of Shock Grenades, Portable Rifts, and Deflectors will remain higher indefinitely! Let him follow the combat and transverse transport.

Shared wallet on PlayStation
As of the v20.40 update, V-Bucks purchased on PlayStation can be used on all platforms supported by the Fortnite Shared Wallet (PlayStation, Xbox, PC, Android, and cloud gaming services). V-Bucks earned on any platform through the Battle Pass, Mission Packs, or Save the World will be shared across platforms. You can find more information in the Fortnite Shared Wallet blog post.

Latency reduction
Epic Games has made performance improvements on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles running at 60 FPS to reduce input latency for players who select “Low Input Latency Mode” in settings (Settings > Game > Options). Low input latency has been enabled by default.
120 FPS changes on PlayStation 5 with the Fortnite patch
PS5 players now find it easier to enable 120 FPS in Fortnite.

To enable 120 FPS in Fortnite on PS5, players no longer need to access the console settings. Instead, it is possible to allow 120 FPS as follows:
In Fortnite, open the settings menu from the sidebar.
Click Video.
Set 120 FPS mode to ON.
Click Apply.
Note: The 120 FPS option will not appear if your TV or AV receiver does not support 120 FPS output.

Middle East server region change
The network options for the Middle East server region have changed. The settings have now been reverted to Auto to ensure that all players in the area have the best experience.
Some players who usually connect to servers in the Middle East will now join Europe or Asia. Competitors, please refer to the “Compete” tab in-game for information on Cup start times.
Players can switch back to the Middle East server region if they wish, but it is worth remembering that this will most likely result in high ping.

Competitive Fortnite Notices
The Arena Completion option has been enabled.
Turns from the Showdown on the Parallel chamber are not included in competitive queues.
The vote winner between bubble shields and balloons will not return from the chamber in competitive queues.
Bug fixes in Fortnite patch 20.40
It is fixed an issue where the Anti-Tank Rocket Launcher UI would not appear.
And so far, all the news of patch 20.40 of Fortnite 3 Season 2. Now let’s see the leaked content.

Fortnite Patch Leaks
Obi-Wan Kenobi Crossover
There have already been plenty of Star Wars skins in Fortnite, but Epic Games isn’t stopping there as it looks like Obi-Wan Kenobi is coming to the island next.
It makes sense, as the famed Jedi is getting his Disney+ series starting May 27, so expect it to arrive sometime in the next couple of weeks.
On the other hand, the lightsabers disappear from the game at the end of the Geek Pride Day celebration.
